Key Stage 2 Sports Days 2022

For the first time this year, we welcomed Lonesome Primary School to our BeDifferent Sports Day competition. We split our Key Stage Two children across two days to ensure that all of the children had the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of field and track events and that families were able to join us at the David Weir Stadium in Sutton for two fabulous days

The children competed as a class, in their allocated coloured teams, in a carousel of field events to score points for their coloured team and class. Events included classics such as the long jump and high jump, along with the more modern quoit toss and rocket ball throw. We also challenged the children with a whole host of running distances, from the 800m for Years 5 and 6, to the 200m and 100m sprint and the 4 x 100m relay race.

The weather stayed beautiful and all of the children thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful sporting extravaganza.

We look forward to announcing the winning colour team for each school and the winning school overall after our Key Stage 1 Sports Days have taken place.
