This April 2026, the BeDifferent Federation signed up to take part in the Mini London Marathon for Schools. Over 2,600 schools registered this year and the aim of the event is to inspire children and to get them moving more.

We welcomed coaches from Sean McInnes Sports Coaching Ltd who took the children through a warm up and then put them through their paces. Children were invited to walk or run at their own pace and to enjoy being outside in the fresh air with their teachers and friends. We challenged the children to complete a minimum number of laps to earn their certificate and were amazed when all children exceeded the target number of laps.

We are so very proud of everyone who took part and of their incredible resilience and excitement to do well.
