At the BeDifferent Federation we believe that working in partnership with our families to support our children's learning is the best way to develop a better understanding of how we plan the learning for each child. Working with families also fosters positive engagement, providing families with a deeper insight into the children's learning within a project and also providing opportunities for collaborative family learning experiences.

Celebrating children's achievements
Class teachers will display the children's home learning on a display board and table in their classrooms, where homework will be celebrated as the children bring it into school throughout the term. At the end of each half term, teachers will choose one winning piece to contribute to the school homework display. If their piece of homework is chosen, children will receive a certificate in an assembly and the opportunity to share their work as our half-termly 'Homework Heroes.'
The children whose homework is selected is also celebrated in our school bulletin and on our website each half term.
Homework Leads
Our Heads of School are responsible for overseeing the homework that is planned and for ensuring that our 'Homework Heroes' are celebrated for their fabulous home learning.
