Teacher's Comments

Welcome to our Capable Colliers Wood Class where, with our dedication, determination and resilience. We always try our best to ensure that we accomplish anything that we set our minds to.

Year 6 is an exciting and memorable year, filled with new challenges, growing independence and plenty of opportunities for social, emotional and educational 'growth'.

This year, we focus on preparing for the transition to Secondary School, while continuing to nurture a love of learning across all subjects. From thought-provoking writing and complex and challenging Mathematics problems, to exploring new worlds through reading and hands- on Science experiments. We are particularly excited about our planned residential to France, where we will have the opportunity to embrace the French culture and enjoy spending time with our friends away from home.

Alongside our academic work, we will enjoy trips, special events and of course responsibility, setting positive examples to others. We aim to develop into confident, independent and resilient learners, who are ready to embrace the next step in our academic journey.

We are so excited about the new academic year and we look forward to creating fantastic memories for all to share!
